Hello morning sickness…

How do I feel? one word - TIRED!

I started a new job on monday - Ellse is back to school - and Borgar is home sick. It’s been one hectic week. I get home from work and all I want to do is head to bed! Lets hope it gets better from here…

So - we still have 2 weeks until we make it to the second trimester - and yea, you are ’supposed’ to wait until then to announce - but I think everyone who knows us has been waiting for some good news on the baby front for awhile - so I was ready to tell everyone. Besides - being that this is my 3rd pregnancy - I’m already starting to show…

We have had one ultrasound to check for a heartbeat - everything looks good so far. I will feel better after the next few ultrasounds look good!!

Due Date is March of next year - right around Scott’s birthday - Mom’s Birthday - and Kelee’s birthday!

My Tooth Is Going to Fall Out

I can’t believe my baby girl is growing so fast. She has a loose tooth.. and now the big decision, does she sell it to the tooth fairy or keep it for herself?

but what do you do all day?

As I sit here, pealing stickers off my hands and undoing the knot tied with ribbons in my hair… I realize that although spending all day with Ellse is allot of work, it’s absolutely the best day job I’ve ever had

Yesterday, we drove down E18 and found a nice beach to spend the day at. Today, we spent the morning doing our hair and then we walked to a local swimming spot (the water is FREEZING but she loves it!). We even had time to go pick some wild strawberries.

Feels like home…

For those of you who know me - this will make perfect sence! I went to the Bon Jovi concert last night in Oslo - and I really felt like a piece of home was right here in Norway Thank you to the band for another great show!!!

ELLSE TURNS FIVE

I never thought I would say this, but I can’t believe she is already 5! We attempted to have a kids party - I invited 17 kids - heard back from a few that they couldn’t come - and 2 showed up to the party. Ellse had a good time running around the park with them - but we had all this left over food and cake - so Borgar called his parents and they called the neighbors - and *poof* Ellse had two parties.

Norway has money

You can see the “money” all around this country. For example, all the parks are well cared for. Here I am in the middle of Skien, a good size city, in a small park - beautiful flowers planted - the grass perfectly trimmed.

This was taken on a day of shopping with Maria.  Oh, and I must mention, my perfect city-parallel parking job!

Ellse was happy - she was tall enough to try this jumping thing she has wanted to try for years now.

Mini-Me

One day I realized that Ellse and I not only act alike - but we dress alike. I said “Ellse, you are my ‘mini-me’” - she loved it. Now, whenever we can - we put on similar outfits. There is a store in a near by city that sells dresses for mom’s and kids…

Parking Tickets

Norwegian take their parking seriously. I have (so far) got myself 2 parking tickets - totaling 800k.
