My laptop died over the xmas holiday weekend. I had a new harddrive installed today, but rebuilding it will take a few days. I do have pictures and stories to post – and I will as soon as I get my computer back.
I have worked out my new years resolutions for this year:
1. Organize
2. Quality Time
3. Frugal
This 21 days is not going to work.. we had a HUGE winter storm, and there was no way to ride! I think I’m going to change it to “21 RIDES with Dancer” and move onto a new 21 day challenge.
When it snows like this they close the highway. Which means, Borgar is stuck in the city. Hopefully, he will be able to change his schedule around so he dosen’t get stuck again tonight!
We wanted to get a family holiday picture, just as we do every year. The first time we went – the pictures were too dark. We were told they can’t adjust the lighting…
The second time, too much glare on everyone’s glasses – we were told that “you have to take your glasses off for pictures, it’s the only way”. Bulls***.
So, I got my money back – and we won’t be getting pictures until after the holidays.
Sorry, everyone will just have to wait for their cards and packages!
To give both Dancer and I a break, today I let them wander the whole property and I just cleaned stalls.
Ellse and her class put on a performance last night – a holiday play. She did a ballet dance and sang a few songs. Here is a movie of her singing -
I did a ride with Karen and her horse Koda today. Besides being told over and over again what to do – the ride went OK. Dancer started out the same, not listing, but by the end she was listing a little better. But, then she did something fun, she kicked at the other horse – both feet up in the air.. nice, eh?
I attempted, once again, to ride in the back field today. And, again, it was a mess. She just refuses to behave! I took her out and ran her in circles for about 20 minutes, and she didn’t even do that well. After that, we came back and she did go around the field…. finally…
Ellse asked Santa for a doll house – so a doll house is what she will get! I’m buying her a Plan Toys house – and it has lots of accessories – so anyone looking for a gift to get her, you can buy one of the rooms of furniture
