My dad used to always tell us we were monkeys – just that our tails were removed before he brought us home from the hospital.
Well, now I know what he was talking about! Everything that can be climbed – is. This tree for example… easy to get up, harder to figure out how to get down… but lotsa fun!
Yes, snow in April!! Really, not fair for those of us waiting for good weather for horseback ridding! Well, at least we have a nice vacation coming up… Ellse is very excited. We will drive from here to South Carolina, with a stop for camping along the way – and after dealing with dad’s “stuff” we will drive to Florida for some fun in the sun.
Ah, easter, yet another holiday that the Christians stole and made some crazy holiday about people rising from the dead. (Read about easter as a pagen holiday).
At my house – we celebrate the Summer Solstice – because it’s much more fun to live in reality and believe that spring is here and it’s time to celebrate warm weather.
Of course – we still eat chocolate and search for colored eggs – Fun stuff!!

Look at the fancy new firetruck my brother’s company just got 
Now that I “have a fireman in the family” I’ve started admiring firetrucks… ours in New Mexico are yellow/green, if you were wondering!!
Look out Florida, here we come!

Well, now I hear it’s not “yellow/green” it’s CHARTREUSE – and they only count as REAL firetruck if they are red… go figure.. firemen, sheesh!
