Here in our small, 3 bedroom house, we now have 5 people.
It’s tight – but we are family, so we make due. Ellse is having a great time hanging out with her uncles and Grandmother while she waits for her Norwegian adventure to begin.
Me, on the other hand, I think there is just not enough time to get everything done before we leave!
We had so much fun on our vacation! One day at California Adventure, 2 days at Disneyland, and one day at Sea World.
The weather was perfect – cloudy, but warm. The rain did come down, just once on the first night. Other than that, not much wet stuff to deal with, just a sprinkle here and there.
I guess everyone thought it would rain – their was hardly anyone in the park. We didn’t have to wait in any lines – and we got to ride everything twice. If we got off a ride and really enjoyed it, we walked back around to the front and got right on and did it again! and again, and again in the case of some rides!
Ellse’s favorite ride was Star Tours, Borgar and I liked Space Mountain. The first trip around on Star Tours, Ellse cried and cried. I felt so bad. But, then the movie ended, and it ended fine – so she decided she loved it and wanted to do it over and over. “Come on Mom, lets go to space again!” – now do I have to show her the star war movies?!
My friends gave us a going away party this last weekend. They were nice enough to NOT bring presents (I swear I’m drowning in cardboard boxes over here!) but they did bring pictures to make a scrapbook for us to take.
It was fun to see everyone, Ellse had fun running around with her friends – but, wow, so hard to be saying good-bye to so many good friends!!!
